Divine Intervention is a new art rock project by vocalist Olivia Hector and guitarist Brigit Ingram.

Divine Intervention brings together alt rock, classic rock and elements of folk to create a world that is evocative, sensual and dynamic. Their music combines melodic layering and emotive lyricism, existing between the mysticism of Fleetwood Mac and the avant sensibilities of PJ Harvey.

As a vocalist and songwriter, Hector weaves delicate poetry with a crystalline vocal power, while Ingram’s guitar takes inspiration from Thom Yorke and Bar Italia’s Sam Fenton and Jezmi Fehmi. Lyrically, the project features themes of devotion, escape and relational bonds which emerge through a landscape of driving rock melodies.
